  • Quote: This course confirmed to me the 90/10 dilemma - that 90% of the world's resources are spent on only 10% of people with illness, causing gross disparities.  I am more aware of the core global health issues, and this will undoubtedly shape my career in the future.  In addition to this, I have also been able to increase my knowledge base into areas away from clinical medicine such as health economics and international development.  Overall, one of the best aspects of this course for me has to be my classmates and the international network of close friends that I have ben fortunate to make during the year.
